

The PPA CONTROLL Group has taken another step towards fulfilling its Strategy 2021 plan, which aims to increase efficiency, expand the portfolio and complexity of the services provided, and continuously grow. The Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic approved the acquisition of LiV ELEKTRA, as in early June, which now belongs to the PPA CONTROLL Group.
LiV ELEKTRA, as, is currently one of the most important companies operating on the Slovak market, focusing on services for HV, VHV and ZHV energy, mechanical engineering and various industrial sectors. After 30 years of independent operation, it has now become part of the PPA CONTROLL group.

According to him, a company can acquire unique competencies through years of developing its own activities and through constant innovation and increasing efficiency. "If a company is strong enough, it can also choose a faster, although not always easier, path to acquiring new competencies, namely through acquisition," added.
Acquisition activities were included as one of the significant sources of growth of the PPA CONTROLL group in the Strategy 2021, which the group's management approved in 2016. Over the past four years, the company has assessed approximately 10 acquisitions. The assessment resulted in the signing of the acquisition documentation at the beginning of this year, by which the PPA CONTROLL, as, group acquired ownership of the company LiV ELEKTRA, as. The acquisition was approved by the Antimonopoly Office of the Slovak Republic at the beginning of June 2021.
The main areas of business of LiV ELEKTRA include the provision of services for the energy industry, especially in the field of high and very high voltage, as well as in the field of construction, reconstruction, modernization, maintenance and servicing of electrical equipment, switchgear and transformer stations without voltage restrictions. The company's headquarters remain in Bratislava, as well as another operation in Nitra, production workshops in Horné Orešany and the main warehouse in Modra.
