Electricity supply

Our company PPA POWER DS, sro is a long-standing supplier of electricity and gas. 

We purchase energy in the liberalized electricity market, where the benchmarks for the Central European region are the EEX stock exchanges in Leipzig and the PXE in Prague. All activities related to purchasing and selling are managed and carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations issued by the Network Industry Regulatory Authority (NRA).

When choosing an electricity supplier, two aspects are important:

• The basic price of power electricity, which is determined by the characteristics of the customer's consumption
• By-products and services through which the supplier can influence the total cost of electricity

The first aspect will create a price effect. In a market with little liquidity like ours, the price of power electricity will not be a significant differentiating factor between individual suppliers.

It remains to influence the characteristics of the consumption (consumption diagram) and the total consumption in such a way that a positive quantitative effect is created, reducing the total consumption. This process is difficult and requires close cooperation with a professional.
