Energy distribution

The general task of energy distribution is to transfer energy from point A to point B, in the form of electricity, gas, or heat. Typically, this involves distribution from the point of production or purchase of energy to the customer's point of consumption.

Within the Slovak Republic, we provide energy distribution in several local distribution networks. Local networks constitute defined territories where we act as a local distributor and all our activities fall under the supervision of the Slovak Energy Regulatory Authority.

The responsibilities of PPA POWER DS, sro in this activity are as follows:

• Creation and registration of local distribution networks
• Ensuring uninterrupted energy distribution within a defined area
• Operation of energy facilities (transformer stations, substations, control stations) serving for distribution
• Minimization of power supply outages, usually using a second independent power line
• Measurement and online energy monitoring
• Network expansion for new customers and increasing energy volumes
• Carrying out activities in accordance with currently applicable legislation
