PPA ENERGO, sro

PPA ENERGO sro is the largest subsidiary of the PPA CONTROLL as holding. The main program of PPA ENERGO sro is nuclear energy. Currently, we are mainly involved in the completion of the Mochovce nuclear power plant, block 4, as well as the implementation of investment and service activities on blocks EMO12 and EBO34. We were a key supplier in the completion and commissioning of the Mochovce nuclear power plant, block 3, and also in the modernization of the Jaslovské Bohunice nuclear power plant.

In addition to the domestic market, we are also active abroad. In the past, we have implemented projects in Finland (JE Loviisa), Sweden (JE Oskarshamm), Belgium (JE Doel) and the Czech Republic (JE Temelín and Dukovany). We are currently implementing projects in the United Kingdom (JE Hinkley Point C), the Czech Republic (JE Dukovany) and France (ITER fusion reactor).

Another important program is represented by industry at home and abroad, and we also participate in projects for the construction of industrial and production parks.

An important part of our program is production of low-voltage switchgear (including serial production)We provide qualification of switchboards according to customer requirements (seismicity, magnetic field, vibration, aging, EMC, ...). We produce switchboards in classic and modular (drawout) designs and we are an official SIEMENS partner for the production of Sivacon S8 cabinets.

An important part of our program is the production of low-voltage (LV) switchgear, including serial production. We ensure the qualification of switchgear according to customer requirements (seismicity, magnetic field, vibration, aging, EMC, ...). We produce switchgear in classic and modular (withdrawable) versions and we are an official SIEMENS partner for the production of Sivacon S8 cabinets.

On an area of ​​almost 3000 m2 there are production facilities, a mechanical workshop, a testing room, warehouse and administrative premises.

WITHDRAWABLE DISTRIBUTORS
Withdrawable switchboards represent a modern trend in the design of switchboards for indoor environments. They are primarily intended for withdrawable design, but they can be made in fixed or combined versions. They are mainly used in applications with continuous operation or in places where maximum emphasis is placed on the functionality of the system with the shortest possible time to eliminate possible faults, without the need to shut down the entire switchboard.
SECURITY
When designing withdrawable switchgear, great emphasis is placed on the personal safety of the operator:
arc flash protection system (exhaust dampers above the main bus system, gas extraction from fixed and withdrawable blocks, partitions between individual fields, additional door locks, etc.)
blocking of pull-out modules against pulling out when switched on
module test positions
The internal protection of the switchgear, even after removing the withdrawable blocks, is IP20.

SOLID CONSTRUCTION DESIGN
Cabinet-type switchboards meet all the requirements of STN standards for the production of low-voltage electrical distribution equipment. They are also designed for applications requiring seismic resistance, or for projects requiring atypical cabinet dimensions, e.g. retrofits.

The switchboard equipment is installed in empty cabinets, which allows for the creation of complex assembly units, high variability of equipment content, as well as modular design.

Wall-mounted distribution boxes are intended for surface or flush mounting, or mounting directly on the structure of technological equipment. The area of ​​application of wall-mounted distribution boxes is very universal due to their compact dimensions and variable instrumentation, which is always defined according to the individual needs of the customer.
